Commonly known as Agricultural Sulphur, his product will lower the pH of alkaline soils. This is particularly important when growing plants like blueberries, Azaleas, Camellias and Gardenias, as they all grow best in a slightly acidic soil.
Directions for use:
Test the pH of your soil prior to application and determine the pH to be achieved. To lower the pH by one unit, eg. 7.5 to 6.5, use the following rate per square metre:
Sandy soil: 25-50g
Loam soil: 50-80g
Clay soil: 80-120g
Work well into top soil and water in well. Avoid contact between Sulpur and any plant foliage.
